ARTIST: 沈美华 作品 Made by Shen Mei Hua, nationally-acclaimed Senior Master Arts and Crafts Artist, student of Grandmaster Li Chang Hong, and 2nd generation disciple of Grandmaster Gu Jing Zhou. Carved by professor and calligrapher, Wu Jing Chuan. 当代书画家吴锦川教授刻绘.

吴锦川 Wu Jin chuan, also known as "Tuishan", was born in Yixing, Jiangsu province in 1968. He has been studying calligraphy and painting since his childhood. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Jiangsu Normal University of Technology in 1991 and has been teaching in the school since then. From 2001 to 2003, he studied in the postgraduate course of fine arts and the advanced study class of Chinese Painting in The Chinese Academy of Arts, under the tutelage of 陈绶祥 Chen Shou Xiang, 龙瑞 Long Rui, 林冠夫 Lin Guanfu, 顾森 Gu Sen, etc. In 2007, he was rated as one of the 35 most celebrated painters by the Collectors Association of China.

Wu Jinchuan's works have been exhibited in The National Art Museum of China, the Museum of Chinese History and the Jiangsu Provincial Art Museum. Some of his works have been selected for exhibition and collection in Canada, the Netherlands, Australia, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and has published numerous books. He is now an associate professor of Art education Center of Jiangsu University, a part-time painter of Changzhou Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and a distinguished painter of Jiangsu National Painting Academy.
