Absolutely beautiful teapot, the craftsmanship is remarkable! The clay quality is amazing as well. I’ve been using it for young and semi-aged sheng and it smoothes out the bitterness without eliminating the brighter notes of the tea. It’s so nice to have a trusted source for yixing that is accessible in the west. I will definitely be ordering again!

Lovely teapot and craftsmanship. Surprising how symmetrical this teapot is, and the detail that was put to ensure the spout was perfectly the same shape and size as the handle. Looks like the spout and handle are exactly the same, but the spout was cut off to let tea pour out.
Using this teapot for shou puer, and it leaves a lovely and long lasting mineral aftertaste which I feel adds another level of enjoyment to my puer - similar to when drinking an expensive rock oolong.
Very satisfied!

We brought this teapot as our sole brewing vessel during a month long trip, and used it to brew all types of teas (red, green, oolong, young and aged sheng puerh). The teapot has served us extremely well. Di Cao Qing is truly a versatile clay! Highly recommended, especially if you want just one teapot that does it all :)

I've been using this pot for a month and I love it. It arrived in a very secure package and came with a padded gift box, a cloth wrapping, a soft towel, a tea sample (which tasted amazing), and a certificate with real gold flakes blended into the paper.
The pot itself is incredible. I've been using it for younger raw puerh, and the clay allows me to brew long and thick brews while still controlling bitterness extremely well. I haven't seen this level of flavor control my other cheaper pots. In terms of the shape and design of the pot, the size of the opening is large, making it perfect for large tea cake chunks as well as loose leaf. The pot does not drip from the lid at all even when I pour completely vertically. Covering the hole at the top of the lid brings the pour to a complete halt (no leaks at all). I have never experienced any sort of clogging or poor pouring, even when I use tea that is dusty and broken. My pot has about a 11-12 second pour, though this will vary since each pot is slightly different.
The patina picks up surprisingly well. I thought maybe people were exaggerating, but I was very wrong. In just a month of use, the pot has developed a beautiful eye-catching shine, which is getting better by the day.
So the big question is: is this teapot worth it? Obviously this isn't cheap, so is it worth the price? In my opinion, yes. I've bought teapots ranging from $60-$350 and I can say with confidence that none of them are even in the same ballpark as this one in terms of performance, effect on tea, and craftsmanship. On top of that, the extra things that came in the package were a great touch, and the customer service was beyond excellent.
All in all, you guys have made a lifetime customer, and I highly recommend your pots!
